Standard 3 mL glass cartridges. Our pens take standard 3 ml (300-unit) glass cartridges with the 11 mm long plunger (stopper), the cartridge we sell. 3 ml cartridges are also made with a shorter, about 8 mm plunger, and a pen is built for one height, so check that a cartridge from another source has the 11 mm long plunger before loading it; the glass looks identical from the outside. Check stopper height, not just the 3 mL label, before you buy.

### Do Gansulin cartridges work in other manufacturers' pens?

We haven't tested or verified this, including for specific third-party models such as the NEST Scientific 80U reusable pen (K240774). We can only confirm fit within the Gansulin pen system itself - check the stopper-height spec on your own hardware before assuming compatibility across brands.

### Does benzyl alcohol affect peptide stability in solution?

Benzyl alcohol is the antimicrobial preservative in bacteriostatic water, added specifically to slow bacterial growth after a vial is opened - it is a disclosed, active ingredient of that diluent, not an inert filler. It does not rescue a solution that was already contaminated or degraded before reconstitution.

### How do I calculate concentration for the pen?

Dissolve the peptide powder in bacteriostatic water (e.g., 5 mg in 2 mL = 2.5 mg/mL). Fill the cartridge with this solution; the pen's scale measures its volume.

### Should I store the filled pen cartridge in the fridge?

Yes, for short-term stability. Store reconstituted peptide solutions in the refrigerator at about 4°C to slow degradation. Freezing may require careful thawing.
