- PEG-MGF is a polyethylene glycol–modified form of Mechano Growth Factor, a splice variant of IGF-1. The PEG coating slows enzymatic breakdown, extending solution stability far beyond the unmodified peptide. Research use only; not FDA-approved.
- How do you reconstitute PEG-MGF in the lab?
- Add bacteriostatic water to the lyophilized vial; concentration (mg/mL) = total vial milligrams ÷ milliliters of solvent added. Example: 2 mg vial + 2 mL water = 1 mg/mL. Use a peptide calculator for other vial sizes and target concentrations.
- Is PEG-MGF banned by WADA?
