Use this free calculator to reconstitute GHK-Cu for research: enter the milligrams in your vial and the millilitres of bacteriostatic water, and it returns the concentration in mg/mL, the volume to draw for any target, and the U-100 unit equivalent. The reference data and concentration matrix below are specific to GHK-Cu and can be checked by hand or cited.
GHK-Cu reference data
| Class | Copper(II) tripeptide complex (copper tripeptide-1; glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine:Cu) |
|---|---|
| Molecular formula | C14H23CuN6O4 |
| Molecular weight | 402.92 g/mol (copper complex) |
| CAS | 89030-95-5 |
| PubChem CID | 71587328 |
| Typical vial sizes | 50 mg / 100 mg |
| Storage | Lyophilized: 2-8 C sealed and desiccated, out of light. Reconstituted: 2-8 C, protect from light; typical ~4-week refrigerated working window. Copper complex is pH- and light-sensitive. |
Molecular weight 402.92 g/mol is the intact copper complex (what ships). The free GHK peptide alone is 340.38 g/mol (CID 73587); nmol/mL here is for the copper complex.
Concentration matrix for GHK-Cu
Each cell = concentration for that vial mass and diluent volume, with mcg per U-100 unit and nmol/mL (from MW 402.92). Concentration = vial mg ÷ water mL.
| Vial ↓ / Water → | 1 mL | 2 mL | 3 mL | 5 mL |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50 mg | 50.00 mg/mL 500.0 mcg/unit · 124094 nmol/mL |
25.00 mg/mL 250.0 mcg/unit · 62047 nmol/mL |
16.67 mg/mL 166.7 mcg/unit · 41365 nmol/mL |
10.00 mg/mL 100.0 mcg/unit · 24819 nmol/mL |
| 100 mg | 100.00 mg/mL 1000.0 mcg/unit · 248188 nmol/mL |
50.00 mg/mL 500.0 mcg/unit · 124094 nmol/mL |
33.33 mg/mL 333.3 mcg/unit · 82729 nmol/mL |

Handling & notes
Water-soluble copper coordination complex. PubChem CID 71587328 lists it as a +1 cation (C14H23CuN6O4+); the free GHK peptide alone is C14H24N6O4 (340.38 g/mol, CID 73587). Dissolves without co-solvent; the blue color confirms the intact Cu(II) chelate.
