Three ways to stay cold

• Battery, 18 hours. The built-in pack runs a full day and then some on a charge.
• Battery-free ice ring, 12 hours. A freezable metal ring and insulated cabin hold temperature with no power at all. This is the flight mode: nothing to charge, nothing to declare.
• Plug in, indefinite. On USB power it simply keeps cooling for as long as it is connected.
• Emergency ice, 6-8 hours. Drop ice cubes into the internal bucket and it buys most of a day with no electronics involved.
