What it is

KLOW is the GLOW blend with one extra compound, KPV, added in. That makes it the most often cited four-part repair blend. KPV is a small tripeptide (a chain of just three amino acid building blocks: lysine, proline, and valine). It is a fragment, or small piece, of a larger signaling protein called alpha-MSH.
In practice, it usually comes as a ~80 mg four-peptide vial.
Why these are combined
KPV is studied for anti-inflammatory signaling (how cells send "calm down" messages to reduce swelling and irritation). This includes research on NF-κB modulation (think of NF-κB as a light switch inside a cell that can turn inflammation on or off; modulation means adjusting that switch) and gut-barrier research (studying how the lining of the digestive tract stays strong and intact).
Adding KPV to the GLOW base brings an inflammation-and-immune angle to the skin-and-repair foundation. That is the reason this four-peptide version exists as its own distinct blend.

The components
- GHK-Cu, a copper tripeptide (copper bonded to a three-amino-acid chain), studied for skin and matrix-remodeling (how skin tissue rebuilds and reorganizes itself).
- KPV, an alpha-MSH fragment studied for anti-inflammatory and gut-barrier signaling.
- BPC-157, studied for angiogenesis (the growth of new tiny blood vessels, like a crew laying new pipes in a building) and gut/vascular repair research.
- TB-500, studied for cell-migration (how cells move to where they are needed, similar to repair workers traveling to a job site).
Reconstitution and blending

Reconstitution means dissolving a dry powder in liquid. Here, the liquid is bacteriostatic water (sterile water with a tiny preservative added to stop bacteria from growing). All four compounds go into one multi-peptide cartridge. Combining four compounds in a single vial shortens the beyond-use window (how long the dissolved sample stays reliable for lab use). Because of this, the vial must be kept refrigerated and used within a short time frame.

Status in sport
All four components are treated as prohibited in sport under WADA (the World Anti-Doping Agency, the global body that sets rules on banned substances in competitive sports). That means KLOW as a whole is prohibited at all times.

What the research community gets wrong about the KLOW blend
KLOW is not one compound. It is four separate peptides (GHK-Cu, KPV, BPC-157, and TB-500) dissolved in a single vial. Anything that weakens one of them affects the whole sample, so it helps to think of the vial as four experiments sharing one container.
- It is not just "GLOW with a booster." KPV is a distinct fragment of alpha-MSH studied for its own signaling (NF-kB modulation and gut-barrier work). It represents a different research question, not a stronger version of the GLOW combination.
- A blend does not last as long as a single-peptide vial. Putting four powders in one cartridge shortens the beyond-use window. The least stable component sets the timeline for the entire vial, not an average of the four.
- The violet color is not a purity or strength reading. The tint comes from the copper ion in GHK-Cu. Seeing pale violet tells you copper is present, not how much intact peptide is in the vial.
- Checking one name in a sport database is not enough. All four components are treated as prohibited at all times, so the blend flags as a whole. Looking up only GHK-Cu or only BPC-157 misses that.
- Mixing order and handling matter. Adding water too fast or shaking hard can stress peptides in solution. Gentle addition down the vial wall and swirling are common bench practices for multi-peptide samples like this one.
